Our naturally dyed ‘frazada’ (‘blanket’ in Spanish) cushion covers are a perfect way to brighten up any space. The colours, patterns and techniques of each piece are completely unique and a reflection of the weaver that created it. Once the wool has been sourced ethically from sheep reared in the mountainous regions of Peru, it is combined and spun into a yarn, coloured using natural dyes (from plants and insects) and transformed into beautiful, handwoven rugs by skilled artisans. These rugs are known as ‘Frazada’, and are used to create a number of home decor items, including cushions! All these steps follow a strict process that respects both the workers and the environment.
